AMY BRUTCHER
Health and wellness are my passion, and I exercise that passion through bodywork and massage therapy. My bodywork style is slow and deliberate with a goal of relieving pain and improving mobility. I help the tissue of our bodies come back to a place of both stable and functional movement. With techniques ranging from Deep Tissue, NMT (neuromuscular therapy), Swedish, cupping, prenatal massage and FST (fascial stretch therapy). I use a blend of these techniques to define, separate and move tissue fibers to allow growth and healing. I have experience working with athletes of all calibers. From the weekend warrior to the marathon runner qualifying for the Olympic team. My areas of expertise include sciatica, shoulder/neck pain from chronic overuse, and posterior chain dysfunction. I also have a background in personal training, which enables me to design effective post massage care plans to help keep the body moving. My plan with every client is to help identify the issue, find the best modality for their body, and customize a plan to help get the client to a place of balance. Both physically and mentally.

JENN CRAWFORD
I graduated from Kauai Community College Academy of Healing Arts, for massage therapy in 2007 on the island of Kauai, Hawaii and moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in February 2009. My modalities include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Couples, Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, and Pre-natal. In 2012, my partner Lauren and I branched out from the spa atmosphere and started Pagosa Massage And Bodywork to better cater to our local clientele who preferred a more medical therapeutic massage. I went back to Kauai and completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Erika Faith of Cloud Nine Yoga. I also have my IBBFA barre instructor certification to bring barre classes to Pagosa! Our utopian hope for PMAB is to have educational classes for the public on different types of holistic health, many different movement options for everyone, and amazing massages!

LAUREN CRAWFORD
I grew up here in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and after a short time in Montana for college, I grew tired of the severe cold and moved to the beautiful island of Kauai. I was in a car accident in 2004 in Colorado that left me with chronic pain and limited movement in my hips. After having lived on Kauai for 3 years and receiving massage monthly, I noticed how much of an effect massage was having on my body. I was able, for the first time in a long time, to bend over my own knees to tie my shoes! I decided I wanted to give back so I enrolled in massage school. I attended the Kauai Community College Academy of Healing Arts. I worked as an eco-tour guide and massage therapist for a number of years before moving back to the mainland and specifically the sleepy town I grew up in, Pagosa! After working in various local spas, I was growing restless and feeling that there was more I could do for people. Massage is so much more then just a monthly treat; massage can heal a person. I look forward to working more with physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors to keep people healthy and in balance. I work with clients to make a goal oriented plan, and that is the vision I have for PMAB too!
